Adding an ASN

Modified on Tue, 11 Feb, 2020 at 1:24 PM

Overview

An Advanced Shipping Note - ASN is a way of letting us know you have a delivery due to the warehouse

This will state the type of delivery:

  • Carton
  • Pallet
  • Container

And what is on the delivery:

  • SKU
    • Quantity
    • Amount Expected
    • 'Amount Received' - Once booked in

Once added to the OMS this will show on the delivery calendar, all parts of the ASN can be modified until it has been delivered

Creating an ASN

To create an ASN navigate to Warehouse > Create ASN

You will then be asked to fill in the fields shown above.

PO ref or any general reference

Supplier - You can add a supplier TOP RIGHT

Estimated Delivery Date This can be modified once ASN has been uploaded if not sure on date.

Delivery type

Quantity NOTE: This is the Delivery Type Quantity not the total unit quantity.

Adding Products to ASN

You can then select what Product and Quantity is on the delivery via the dropdown:

Once products are added they will show at the bottom of the screen

Quantity can be adjusted and product can be completely removed from the ASN if needed.

Uploading in Bulk

Items can also be added by spreadsheet if there are lots of SKUs to be added.

To do this go to:

  1. Upload Items
  2. Download Template Fill in the columns and then
  3. Choose File > Upload

Confirm ASN

Once you are happy that everything has been added to the ASN that is due in you will need to Confirm the ASN which will then notify us that a delivery is due.

ASN Paperwork

Once confirmed you can generate the ASN paperwork.

NOTE: Please pass this onto suppliers to attach to delivery. This speeds up the receiving process so we can get your products live!!
